Our client is a leading UK Civil Engineering company. Due to continuous success with several clients they are looking to strengthen the Commercial team with an Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Estimator.
Key Essentials:
* You will be responsible for assisting with providing Commercial and Financial reporting information
* Liaising with the Commercial, Operational and Design teams; you will be required to provide Estimates for Utility Mains Replacement projects using a Schedule of Rates
* You will be required to assist with the preparation, maintenance and agreement of Project accounts
* You will be required to assist with claims management and control of project documentation
Requirements:
* You should ideally be qualified to HNC level (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying or possess relevant Q.S / Estimating experience
* You should have at least 2 years previous experience in the Utilities Industry
* It is essential that you have excellent I.T skills with Microsoft Office packages
This is an exciting position that offers excellent career progression with a salary of up to GBP38k + Package
