OVERVIEW: HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE ASSESSOR

We are currently seeking an experienced Health & Social Care Assessor/Training Advisor to deliver and coordinate the successful completion of Apprenticeship Level 2, 3 and 5 Health & Social Care qualifications for an exciting and upcoming growing training provider.

The role is home based and the caseload of learners are predmonetly based in Kingston Upon Thames and surrounding area. You will be provided with Company Laptop, phone and any other equipment needed for the role.

The role will require you to be involved in all aspects of the Health & Social Care Apprenticeship delivery including the carrying out of assessments and also liaising with employers, external verifiers and staff to maximise framework completions. You will possess a strong occupational background in a managerial position within the Health and Social Care industry OR a qualified nurse RGN/RMN or equivelant.

The successful candidate will already hold the relevant Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA, assessor award or equivalent).

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE ASSESSOR

* Working closely with internal and external key stakeholders, while delivering a range of quality provisions, you will follow code of practise and or the agreed procedure for any awarding bodies.
* Train, assess, motivate and support learners on programmes towards achieving qualifications including Apprenticeships and NVQ's within a sector specific area and in a variety of locations and environments / organisations.
* Support, develop, implement and evaluate approved training materials, promoting standardisation, use approved training methods to develop the learner and utilise every opportunity to supporting them to achieving their qualification in a timely manner.
* Ensure the highest standards of learner completions are met and to monitor candidates' progress, including carrying out regular progression reviews/additional support reviews.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES: HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE ASSESSOR

* Assessor Award (A1/TAQA/D32/33 or equivalent)
* Relevant Teaching Qualification (desirable)
* Strong occupational competence in Health & Social care in a management role OR RGN/RMN qualfiied
* Ability and desire to work autonmously and not require micro management
* Excellent attention to detail/Time management skills
* Passion for people development
* Full UK Driving License and use of own vehicle

SALARY/BENEFITS: HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE ASSESSOR

Starting salary range between GBP25k - GBP27k (depending on skill-set, qualifications and experience)

45p per mile travel expenses (paid from the home)

29 days annual leave PLUS BH's
