Our clients are a General Construction Contractor working across the Commercial, Residential, Health Care, Education and Historic/Listed Buildings sectors. Due to recent growth, they are currently looking for an ambitious Graduate or Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Birmingham.
Excellent opportunity for an ambitious Graduate or Assistant QS to further develop and progress your career working with a well established company with ongoing training and genuine career progression prospects.
You will assist the Project Surveyor to carry out quantity surveying duties in conjunction with other team members and provide effective financial and contractual control on all contracts allocated.
Already experienced as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor you will be degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or other equivalent commercially related subject and ideally you will be CIOB or RICS accredited.
You will have awareness and experience of construction methods, technology, standard forms of measurement and forms of contract, and health and safety requirements and you will understand and follow laid down procedures for example standing orders and financial regulations
