Asbestos Quality Auditor
Our clients are a leading Asbestos consultancy with offices based throughout the UK. Due to recent growth they are currently looking for a Quality Auditor to join their Essex office.
The quality auditor shall be familiar with HSG Guidance and must have obtained the appropriate BOHS qualification (or equivalent) with at least 24 months practical site experience to carry out the task they are auditing staff on.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualification: BOHS P402 / P403 / P404 (and S301 or W504 preferable but not essential)
Duties:
Assisting National Quality Manager with general quality matters, including:
-Auditing and training new members of staff
-On-going competency audits of existing staff
-Carrying out quality re-inspections of completed surveys
-Ensuring all records are correctly filed and updated on completion of all of the above
-Gathering information as required to assist the National Quality Manager / Training Manager with refresher training
-Keeping National Quality Manager informed of any suspected non-confirming works
-Gathering information as required to assist in investigations of complaints and/or non-conforming works
-Chasing up of internal QC and RICE results that are administered from head office
-Arranging service, repairs and calibrations and inspections of testing equipment, access equipment and RPE as required
-Vertical internal audits
-Air monitoring & Surveying, either as overtime outside normal working hours or during periods of exceptional workload
Requirements:
-You will need to have excellent communication and time management skills
-The ability to work within a team, a good eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure for month end deadlines are also essential
