Working for a large company who are firmly established within the Modular build industry, my client is looking for a construction senior Project Manager to look after 3 project managers and 5 site supervisors
The role will be to help manage a number of projects from values of GBP50k to GBP5 million, supporting the project manager to manage the jobs and dealing with clients. This is mainly an office based role with a maximum of 2 days working away per week, so would suit somebody who is looking for a role close to home but still with a challenge.
The role will involve:
• Managing up to 3 project managers and their supervisors
• Dealing with Clients problems, concerns and keeping them informed from inception through to completion.
• Dealing with planning, method statements, risk assessments and ensuring health and safety policies are set for every site.
• Giving progress reports to directors and your direct reports.
• Been involved in heading meetings with sub-contractors and clients.
• Liaising with project coordinator to make sure all roles are dealt with
The ideal Candidate will:
• Have previous construction project management experience
• Have all relevant health and safety, first aid, cscs card
• Ideally have previous modular experience (but this isn't essential)
• Be willing to travel.
• Have experience of dealing with public sector clients
• Have experience of managing numerous projects
• Have experience of managing projects of up to GBP2 million
This is a great role for somebody who is looking for a contract position initially and wants to get experience/more experience within the fast growing modular market. The position may move to a permanent position or get extended on a contract basis
