My client is looking for a German National OR an English National FULLY FLUENT in German to join their friendly sales team as an EXPORT SALES REPRESENTATIVE. A very impressive vacancy...

You will need a PROVEN track record in sales as you will be established dealers, maintaining/improving long term customer relations whilst also developing a strong sales revenue.

The level of travel abroad expected with the role will be around 100 working days a year, with some extended periods of travel to meet the needs of the business. A VERY exciting opportunity for the right candidate PLUS a higher rate of pay will be available on these days.

Main Responsibilities:

-Manage and exceed territory sales versus previous years and current targets set.
-Maintain and develop a rapport with new and existing dealer networks
-Working within your territory, create a call cycle to your dealer network
-Become a product expert through training and by researching company literature, such as brochures for product/technical information and prices.
-Deliver new product presentations
-Assist dealers with calculating quotes for projects.
-Make and receive telephone calls to/from customers
-Project a positive image when representing the company to customers.
-Promote and train retailers on new products, technical information and advise of any discontinued stock.
-Provide feedback to internal departments such as Customer Services, Marketing, Purchasing, Production and Warehouse.
-Attend dealer days and exhibitions where necessary.
-Assist with design ideas and merchandising within dealer showrooms

Personal Specification:

-MUST - Fluent in English and German, other languages would be a benefit.
-Be self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
-Can persuade and influence, and be assertive.
-Able to produce timely reports, gather data and compile information.
-A good understanding of marketing and techniques to develop the brand.
-Possess excellent communication skills to be able communicate from grass roots to board level. The successful incumbent will have outstanding interpersonal skills and be articulate in their delivery of their sales presentation to an individual, group, team or seminar.
-Be socially engaging, outgoing and comfortable with your own company.
-Be willing to travel abroad (circa 100 working days a year) with a full (ideally clean) driving licence.
-Be IT literate, with intermediate to advanced MS Office skills.
-Be highly organised with good route planning and time management skills
