Maintenance Fitter
As a Maintenance Fitter you will be responsible for providing mechanical maintenance support to the department in order to improve the running of plant and equipment to minimise downtime.
You will ensure all mechanical maintenance is carried out as efficiently as possible adhering to all safe working practices.
Planned preventative maintenance of all plant and equipment.
Be involved with general maintenance and installation.
You will be working with a range of large machine tools including lathes, millers, grinders and foundry equipment in a heavy manufacturing environment.
Must be Time Served Maintenance Fitter
Experience of working in a heavy manufacturing environment
Experience of CNC machine tool maintenance
Must be able to understand mechanical drawings
Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Working a 2, 3 or 4 shift pattern covering dayshift and nightshift
Shift pattern TBC so please only apply if you can commit to a shift rotation
The role will be a fixed term 12-month contract
