We are currently recruiting for a permanent Engineering Technician at our site in Settle, North Yorkshire. Settle Creamery is a 24/7 site with c150 people producing UHT milk for UK and Export markets. The site is currently experiencing growth and as such we are looking for a high calibre candidate to help drive the site's performance through this exciting period.

This multi skilled engineer role is not only about running and maintaining equipment (although a significant part of the role), but in developing continuous improvement teams, leading and facilitating these through a number of lean manufacturing areas to deliver improvements across the Creamery.This will include the delivery of planned/predictive engineering maintenance across all production lines & process areas, continuous improvement facilitation of cross-functional teams, using a combination of tools & techniques such as TPM, RCM, FMEA, 5'S and Kaizen events etc and identification and implementation of improvement ideas to achieve world-class standards relating to OEE, quality and H&S measurements across the facility.

We are looking for electrically biased Multi Skilled Engineers with previous experience of working in a FMCG manufacturing environment, experience from a food or beverage environment would be advantageous. Experience and knowledge of processing equipment would be desirable, as would automation/PLC experience with knowledge of S7 and Rockwell. The position works on a rotating shift pattern including days, nights and weekends. Further details can be provided.
