COMMERICAL VEHICLE
WORKSHOP SUPERVISOR
Salary: GBP13.00 - GBP14.50ph
Hours: Day Shift
Location: Bournemouth
Our client, a group of Commercial Vehicle Dealerships is currently recruiting for a Workshop Supervisor to motivate their workshop team.
The successful candidate will have experience in a supervisory position and experience working on HGV's.
RESONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the supervision of workshop technicians and dealing on a day to day basis with the workshop manager/controller and customers.
*
To properly supervise, develop and train the workshop Technicians to achieve the highest possible levels of performance.
*
To receive customers vehicles in a friendly and professional manner, discuss, confirm the requirements and take responsibility for the vehicle during its time in the workshop
*
To supervise the flow of work for their team into the workshop, allocating work as required and maximising the use of available resources.
*
To ensure that collection and delivery drivers operate to schedule and meet customer expectations.
*
To ensure that requested work is completed on time and to the expected standards.
*
To ensure that vehicles are handed back to customers in a clean state and tidy condition
*
To take responsibility for sub contracted repairs and ensure the quality of such.
*
To supervise MOT testing and the achievement of a 100% pass rate
*
To maintain high standards of housekeeping within the workshop and maintain a safe working environment
THE CANDIDATE WILL:
*
Have experience working with Heavy Goods Vehicles
*
Have experience working in a commercial dealership environment
*
Have the ability to motivate the team to the best of their ability
*
Have strong self-organisational skills.
*
Have experience in an After Sales environment
*
Strong numerical and literacy skills
*
Possess good customer relations skill to adapt to customers individual requirements
*
The ability to produce faultless written communications
*
Have man management skills to a minimum of supervisory level and a good understanding of team dynamics.
*
Have an understanding of targets and measures need to achieve them
