Globally renowned Packaging Solutions design & manufacturer at the forefront of the Retail, Food & Beverage industry seek an experienced, innovative & intelligent Packaging Design Manager to lead their multi site Technical Development team.
Developing strong relationships with Customers, assessing technical issues and delivering innovative packaging solutions, you will lead and develop a team of Technical Designers and Sample Makers. Effective at the Client interface, you will not only lead a diversely skilled creative & technical team, but also make a strong personal contribution to the Creative, Constructional & cost effective Design output of an array of Retail ready packaging and carton solutions.
Delivering a variable & volume centric array of Client demands & projects, you will lead & drive a first class and value added service to their Customers, working closely with both internal and external customers, developing a comprehensive understanding of the Company's innovative product range and offering an expanded technical liaison & support to customers across an existing portfolio and importantly, an innovative array of new products.
You must be strongly CAD & IT proficient as you will also have full responsibility for the maintenance and further development of their Esko WebCenter & ArtiosCAD Enterprise systems.
You must have a genuine working understanding of Supply Chain management and managing product life cycle, providing technical leadership and working closely with the Sales division & outsource suppliers where needed, as you will also control the ordering process for production tooling, dies, cyrel/coating blankets and window stencils.
