My client a well established Pensions and Employee Benefits company is actively seeking to recruit an Assistant Manager within the Employee Benefits and Pensions Team. Not only will this person have strong EB and pensions exposure, but will also be required to attend client meeting with the Senior Consultants in supporting the Corporate proposition for the business and its clients. Dealing with the Renewals Team and helping them achieve objectives you will have excellent Pensions and Group Risk prouct knowledge and be able to hit the ground running immediately. We are looking for an experienced Employee Benefits professional who has specialised in pensions and who is committed to providing a high level of client supportThe core duties will include the following:• Assist with retaining clients and protect existing income stream• Develop strong and trusted relationships with clients to enhance service delivery via e-mail, telephone and face to face where appropriate• Understanding clients' benefit arrangements, service expectations and the remuneration/ billing arrangements• Manage allocation of work and co-ordinate client work when other support colleagues are involved• Delivery of work to required standard within expected timescales• Assisting client managers with preparation of client engagement documents• Assist team with monitoring and recording referrals, prospects and successes• Provide Director with appropriate information on regional business development activity• Understanding the billing process and support the Assistant Manager to co-ordinate activities between team members • Support Assistant Manager to ensure the billing is accurate before getting it signed off by Director• Support the Assistant Manager to ensure it is submitted within required deadline• Engagement with the client/ prospect is always in accordance with our advisory process and conducted to the highest professional standards• Documents provided to Client Managers including (recommendation letters, reports and e-mail correspondence) are high quality, accurate and appropriate with good attention to detail• Client expectations and service quality are met• To work effectively with the colleagues and promote a team based, best practice approach to client service delivery• Provide suggestions to enhance best practice • Assist other team members with guidance and resource where required• Assisting with projects where required • A proactive contribution to all team and other business meetingsTo be considered you must be able to demonstrate the following:-• Working towards CII or PMI Qualifications and committed to learning and development• Extensive knowledge of employee benefits especially pensions but also other benefits and products• Understanding of tax treatment of benefits• Experience with Intelligent Office or similar back office system• Experience of flexible benefit plans• Knowledge of salary sacrifice• Knowledge of state benefitsReed Specialist Recruitment Limited is an employment agency and employment business
