Job Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity within our Advanced Wound Management division for a Marketing Manager to drive the performance of our Infection Management products in the Europe and Canada regions.

This role is responsible and accountable for developing and leading 'Glocal' Marketing strategies (short and long term) for Infection Management across the EUCAN Region, ensuring best-in-class product introduction (downstream), whilst also being responsible for Product Life Cycle Management of the existing Infection Management product range within this region. This includes working in close collaboration with all Global and Local Sales & Marketing leads.

What will the role entail?

Below are some of the key areas of responsibility:

Portfolio Management:

* Ensure knowledge transfer, open communication and effective interfaces among all Marketing units of the EUCAN Region
* Support and develop Business Plans in-market, as required
* Prepare needs assessment for all activities with HCPs for Infection Management
* Work closely with the Medical Education team and Compliance Department to follow company guidelines
* Contribute to the identification of deviations from plans/budgets and major issues (market share loss, margins, marketing skills, processes etc.) regarding all marketing operations of the European (Franchise) business and initiate appropriate corrective actions

Marketing:

* Provide regional marketing activities and product management activities for existing and new Infection Management products
* Define and continuously update the Infection Management marketing strategy; ensure alignment between the local and global teams and coordinate regional implementation
* Help develop and implement regional promotional concepts, define and update the Infection Management strategy for the Franchise
* Validate global MarComs tools for use in Europe
* Work closely with each local market to enable pricing and effective customer management
* Develop and enhance new ideas to enhance growth of European portfolios, working in conjunction with Global and Local Marketing teams
* Understand and analyse the competitive landscape. This includes competitor market strategies and sales tactics. Makes adjustment to assigned product sales and marketing strategies to manage competitive threats/opportunities

Market Development:

* Ensure successful introduction of new product lines into the market and ensure the successful product rationalization, where required
* Build superior knowledge of customer and market needs. This will be acquired by spending time in the field and developing relationships with HCPs and KOLs so as to help define projects for the development of new or modified products for the EUCAN market in line with global strategy
* Collection of market and sales data, and forecasts for new products and launches/phase outs

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required or equivalent in business, medical or science field. Post graduate qualification in business or marketing is desirable.

Experience, Attributes and Knowledge:

* Extensive experience in a Commercial environment (sales experience is a plus). Minimum 3-5 years healthcare business experience, with 2-3 years being in a Marketing role.
* Experience of brand planning and project management for existing and new products or services is key
* Strong presentation and communication skills, leadership, and ability to influence others at a senior level
* International / European working experience preferable
* Awareness of cultural differences and working practices
* Second EU language preferable (fluent in English)
