The Data Processing Executive is an operations role, working in the International Data Acquisition Systems (IDAS) team.

The Data Acquisition team is primarily responsible for ensuring that all data supplied from retailers is delivered on time and processed to the agreed schedules. They are responsible for the quality of the data received from the retailer and work closely with a number of internal teams to improve data supply and quality of data from receipt through to reporting.
The team are also responsible for new retailer setups, allocating products to retailer specified categories, and the investigation and timely resolution of data queries.

This role requires high attention to detail, the ability to learn internal tools quickly, to work in a fast paced environment whilst maintaining high quality standards, a natural aptitude to develop strong internal working relationships and a flexible work ethic.

Key tasks & responsibilities:
• To ensure data is delivered and processed to the agreed schedules and established best practise processes
• To identify and resolve data processing issues within the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA)
• To work collaboratively with the Retail team to ensure regular contact with data suppliers to improve structure, content and delivery timings
• To set up new retailers to the GfK portfolio, analysing and assessing the quality of data received, proactively identifying efficiencies and improvements and providing recommendations
• To allocate new products to retailer categories for Total Store Reporting, ensuring adherence to best practise, established quality standards and agreed timelines
• To investigate, maintain and update required mandatory files to ensure that all operational processes run efficiently
• To ensure issues/risks are effectively managed and clearly communicated to all stakeholders
• To ensure adherence to retailer confidentiality at all times
• Occasional out of hours support may be required

Other Responsibilities
Other responsibilities may be allocated by the line manager to ensure the effectiveness of the Group. All employees in GfK are expected to promote the image of the company.
