We are currently recruiting for a market leading pharmaceutical organisation with an exciting new opportunity working as a Medical Governance Officer from our client's head office in Berkshire. The purpose of this role is to ensure adherence to industry-specific codes of practice or conduct, advertising codes, regulatory directives and guidelines, as applicable to the role, and to the Program for Legal Compliance and Corporate Responsibility.

Essential Requirements:
UK degree level or equivalent qualification.
Must have a detailed knowledge of marketing and sales support with experience of the pharmaceutical industry in, for example, analysing compliance issues, sales, marketing, medical information, research or training.
Experience in line management and/or of working in cross functional teams.
Ability to write training materials and run training workshops.
Largely self-sufficient in word processing and document creation.
ABPI qualified.
A current driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Role Responsibilities:
Writing and implementing standard operating procedures
To assist the Head of Medical Governance Manager in the design, delivery and validation of training for SOPs and compliance
Maintain training record archive
To project manage and conduct regular systematic audit of all company procedures related to the ABPI Code of Practice including Head Office and Field Force and third party service provider activities
Administer and control certain company processes including complaints and withdrawal of promotional/non-promotional items.
Maintain tracking systems for processes
Advise on medical governance and corporate compliance
Create and distribute publications and materials for internal distribution to employees for education and enhancing awareness of to the ABPI Code of Practice, other guidelines and PMCPA case rulings or reviews
Ensure a consistent understanding of changes to the code across Business Units and provide a focus for feedback.
