This software company based in Leatherhead require a Business Development Director to join their team. The ideal individual will be degree educated with experience in field sales and key account relationship management in software solutions. The main objective of this role is to achieve new business, growth and profitability targets.
Responsibilities:
* Identifying and leading negotiations
* Ongoing development and management of partner and direct customer accounts
* Developing and delivering the clients sales pipeline
* Defining, developing and delivering account management structures and processes
* Managing and coaching the sales team to ensure all new business opportunities are maximised
* Working closely with colleagues to develop compelling propositions for clients
Experience Required / Personal Qualities:
* Field Sales and Key Account relationship management experience in software solutions (at least 3 years)
* Knowledge of consultancy services, business planning and project management software products
* Degree educated
* Sales qualifications (preferred)
* Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
* Commercial awareness with sound understanding of key profit drives
* Demonstrable evidence of high achievement drive (evidence required of exceeding targets / objectives)
* Excellent influence, persuasion and relationship building skills demonstrable across a broad range of audiences
* Customer focused
* Business consultancy / business analysis experience
* Working experience of P3O, MOP, MSP and PRINCE2
Benefits and Comments:
* GBP60,000 basic
* OTE of GBP120,000
* GBP5,000 pa car allowance
* Extensive travel and overnight stays throughout the UK
* Occasional international travel may be required
