IT Field Engineer

A great opportunity for an IT Field Engineer to join a successful IT Engineering business, with its offices based in Watford, Hertfordshire. The company specialise in the installation and support of both Apple Mac and Windows systems, at client sites based in London and the Home Counties.

The IT Field Engineer will need to have experience servicing Apple Mac computers, dealing with board and unit exchange - not component level repair. The IT Field Engineer will also ideally have experience working on exchange servers, networking, routers and other various types of hardware.

This IT Field Engineer is occasionally customer facing, so the applicant must have good communication skills, be presentable, and able to support customers face-to-face. You will also need to have a full manual UK driving licence. The IT Field Engineer will have access to a pool car.

IT Field Engineer Requirements:

- A minimum of 2 years' experience working with Apple Mac computers
- Ability to swap out and replace boards/units within these computers
- Previous experience connecting Macs to exchange email servers
- Experience working on windows computers and networking
- Knowledge of routers and printers
- Strong communication skills, presentable and able to support customers in a face-to-face capacity
- Full manual UK driving licence
