Head Chef - Busy Fresh Food Pub - Berkhamstead
The Client
Newly refurbished in 2016 this is a proper foodies' pub set right next to the canal. Locals, tourists and families are all welcome aboard here, where they serve fresh seasonal food. The Pub makes all dishes fresh from scratch every day - using superb seasonal ingredients sourced from an array of local suppliers.
Salary / Package
* Salary: GBP30,000 dependent on experience
* Chef Whites Provided
* 28 Days holiday per year
* 15% bonus based on hitting profitability, GP, health & safety score and NPS.
* Access to pension scheme

The role:
You need to be a talented Head Chef with a passion for fresh food and a love of kitchen camaraderie. You'll be able to bring the best out in others - and you'll take immense pride in every successful service
Other key characteristics:
* Passion for detail and presentation
* Head Chef for at least 1 year
* The desire to train and mentor junior team members
* An extensive knowledge of seasonal produce and cooking techniques
* Experienced within managing and producing functions
* Ordering
* Stock Control
* Maintaining the high standards at all-times along with health and safety.
