A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Technical Service Specialist to take on a new position in Surrey. My client is a market leading manufacturer or Special Purpose Vehicles who due to organic growth within the company, are looking to take on a skilled Technical Service Specialist.
The appointed Technical Service Specialist will be responsible for providing first line support to a large number of clients, assisting the with queries and faults with their vehicles.
The primary responsibilities of the Technical Service Specialist are outlined below:
- Providing trouble shooting over the phone in order to diagnose and attempt to repair faulty customer vehicles
- Liaise with customers' engineering department to provide technical support on how to repair faulty vehicles
- To book out field service engineers when over the phone technical support is not sufficient
- Logging all inbound customer service requests from all over the UK onto our SAP database
- To liaise with the engineering department on frequent faults in order to assist with future development of products
- Assist customer service department to estimate repair costs
The successful Technical Service Specialist must be able to supply detailed technical support so a history in special purpose vehicles or hydraulics / pneumatics is required.
