A Hybrid Component Engineer is required to work for a leading automotive OEM. The position will be a long term contract role based in Gaydon, Warwickshire and is paying a rate of up to GBP22.00 Ltd Co per hour.
The Hybrid Component Engineer is responsible will ensure effective delivery of Hybrid Propulsion Systems within the Platform to Quality, Cost and Timing Targets.
Hybrid components involve: transmission, driveline, electrical engine, internal combustion engine, battery, starter, charger, power supply, regenerative/de coupled braking, Electric AC compressor, heating etc.
The Hybrid Component Engineer role will involve consolidation and validation of Module Leader inputs for affected Engineering Systems for the complete Electrified Propulsion System and integration into the associated Vehicle Application Programmes.
The commercial element of the role involves working closely with the Purchasing and Finance Teams.
