This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of FastTrack who are operating as an employment business.
My client a recognised main contractor, are seeking to add a Design Manager to manage the design aspects of projects with values upto GBP20million. The successful candidate will report into the directors, managing a number of Design Coordinators providing architectural and engineering support, as well as technical guidance for site based operations, primarily you will be managing the production stages of relevant projects.
Other responsibilities include:.
+Coordinating and managing the issue of technical documentation
+Coordinate drawing issues and maintain an efficient file management system
+Coordinate and control the expenditure of external consultants.
The ideal candidate will:
+Have a working knowledge of CAD
+Relevant qualification or degree
+Exposure within a similar role
+Technical building and construction knowledge.
