We are seeking a document controller / site secretary to work on a new build project in the centre of Birmingham for a 2 year contract. Ideally we are looking for the right candidate before Christmas but January at the latest.

Overview
To provide a consistent and timeous service to contract teams by ensuring that project information / documentation is captured within the company electronic systems for the site team and contractors to access.

Duties
The document controllers main duties will be to collate and manage the system which holds all documents and drawings for the project team. Ideally you will have previous experience of managing documents in a similar or the same role. You will be an important part of the team that will support the site teams with the workflow process within 4Projects.
*Ensure company Document Control Procedures are adhered too, ensuring documentation is approved and agreed prior to issue.
*Ensure that change control of revision status is recorded and updated.
*Ensure all drawings / documentation is controlled and maintained in a methodical manner; issued within set time scales.

Experience:
*Knowledge and understanding of the Document Control process at operational level within a similar environment is vital.
*Knowledge and experience of using 4Projects at operational level is essential.
*Ability to prioritise workload when managing multiple contracts / tasks.
*Ability to work accurately under pressure to meet project targets.
*Attention to detail
*Supportive and professional approach to work.
The successful candidate may also be required for future Building work after the contract end
