Assistant Accountant - Woking - Up to GBP28K
Wade Macdonald are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join a Global Company in the Woking area.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving International Organisation.
Core responsibilities:
*Maintenance of general ledgers.
*VAT/Tax returns.
*Assist with month end project related reporting, & month end activity in the shared services environment.
*Suggest ways to improve processes and create a better environment for efficiency.
*Adjustments of accruals and the fixed asset register.
*Ensure appropriate funding of regional legal entities through forecast and cashflow management.
*Ensure compliance with US GAAP and all local tax and statutory reporting requirements.
*Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and with.
Personal profile:
*Minimum of 3 years' experience in finance and accounting, with some of this period being in a shared service centre environment and experience with Sarbanes-Oxley internal controls (SOX) preferable.
*Minimum AAT level 4 studying or qualified.
*Work effectively within cross-functional teams.
*Experience with ERP systems, SAP experience is preferred.
