Graduate Electronic Design Engineer - Cambridge
A top calibre graduate with a minimum of a 2.1 Degree from a well ranked University and ideally a relevant post-graduate qualification, is sought by a prestigious Cambridge company. You will have completed a project where you have designed an electronic subsystem using appropriate CAD and Simulation tools relating to the areas of Networking or High Speed design.
Our Client is a leading provider of application-intelligent networking solutions, with their products widely used in scale-out server environments such as electronic trading, HPC, Cloud, Virtualization and big data.
Your academic background must include:
A minimum of a 1st / 2.1 Degree in a Scientific or Engineering discipline from a well ranked University A PhD would also be a distinct advantage.
Your Technical Skills & Knowledge should include:
Evidence of electronic design such as DC-DC Converters, microcontrollers, high speed design. CAD and simulation tools such as Mentor Expedition, HyperLynx, DX Designer. PCB Layout.
The successful Graduate Electronic Engineer will work alongside like-minded individuals as a key member of a team working on a variety of solutions to make servers faster and more secure. You will learn about the PCIE standard and will participate in executing design validation plans and component engineering; gaining expertise in high speed design and the use of PCB Layout tools.
