Main Purpose of the Job:
Reporting to the Framework Manager you will be responsible for managing the effective delivery of our design services across a range of varied and interesting projects to cost, programme and the required quality. This will be a challenging and exciting role which will be well suited to a highly motivated and organised team player.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Act as the client facing entity for allocated projects
• Day to day management of projects and team members
• Managing stakeholder requirements and expectations
• Preparation and updating of programmes
• Making sure that all the aims of the project are met
• Preparation of fee estimates and monitoring of expenditure
• Identification and systematic management of risk and change
• Leading and motivating the project team
• Maintaining communications with stakeholders and the project team
• Ensuring compliance with regards to Pell Frischmann's BMS
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Other duties as required by the Framework Manager

Essential Qualification
• A degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering
• Formal Association for Project Management or PRINCE2 practitioner qualifications

Essential Experience
• A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a formal Project Manager role
• Experience of managing and leading the design team and processes within the discipline
• Experience of undertaking a client facing role and stakeholder management
• A good understanding of all relevant standards and Codes of Practice and Health and Safety Legislation within the construction industry

Preferred Experience:
• Experience of the Engineering Sector
• Experience of managing design works
• Bringing exceptional commercial acumen to projects

• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office
• Commercial awareness
• Analytical and well developed interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
