Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer? Do you have experience with Hydraulics and Pneumatics? Do you enjoy supporting apprentices and delivery first class training in engineering?

Alderwood are currently working with a leading Training Provider in Hampshire looking to expand their delivery team within Mechanical Maintenance Engineering.

The successful candidate will be an experience Maintenance Engineer with a genuine interest in passing on their knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
* The role entails teaching, coaching and mentoring young learners undertaking Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications.
* Provides engineering skills and knowledge training in both theoretical and practical forms, using the appropriate technique for the topic/session.
* Prepares and plans training sessions, materials and resources in accordance with the standards required by PETA and the appropriate awarding body.
* Undertakes the activity of assessor of NVQs/VRQs and Functional Skills. Plans, prepares and undertakes assessments of competence against the awarding body standards, both practical skills and underpinning knowledge.
* Ensures that all relevant paperwork relating to training and assessment, as well as company business, is completed on time and correctly.

* Time served Engineer with Maintenance experience
* Level 3 Engineering Qualification
* NVQ/QCF Assessor qualification or the willingness to work towards
* Teaching qualification or the willingness to work towards

Salary & Benefits:
* Up to GBP28,000
* 34 days and rising with services
