The Company:
Our client is one of the largest Engineering maintenance providers in the UK, providing both Planned Preventative and Reactive Maintenance to thousands of clients across tens of thousands of locations around the UK. They have renewed the contract for a high end, high security building based in Slough. This is a fantastic opportunity for engineers to join a forward thinking business who look to train those want to be trained and also proactively promote from within.

The Role:
We are recruiting for a two static Electrical Maintenance Engineers to work for one of the UK's largest maintenance contractors, these positions are based on a critical Data Centre site with a high level of security, technology and plant such as ; BMS, UPS, Chillers, Downflow Units, Battery Banks, AHU, FCU, etc.

The Package will include a starting salary of GBP31,500 per annum plus great overtime rates, overtime opportunities, healthcare, pension other benefits such as Travelcard loan and lots of training such as ILM and HV AP.
Successful candidates will be required to complete scheduled PPM and reactive maintenance tasks in maintaining site assets ensuring equipment availability, to perform higher level technical fault finding and repairs. They will be responsible for performing operational checks and first line repairs of building technology systems. Identify then estimate repair or project works conforming to best practice and regulations, plus complete repair/project works when delegated.

Those selected should have experience with mechanical and electrical services, fault finding and repairs to standard installations in corporate offices up to large commercial and critical buildings.

This role is based on a working week of Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.
This is a high end, prestigious building, so the client interaction is high. The ability to communicate well and be approachable to the client consistently is very important. This site is a critical environment so experience within similar buildings or technology will be preferred.

For the right person, training and development will be given to develop further skills and to fast-track through internal promotions going forward.
