Job Title: Personal Assistant (PA) to the Project Director
Location: Blyth
Type: Contract
Hours: 37 per week
Hourly Rate: Dependent upon experience

Our Client, a large renewable energy company, requires a Personal Assistant to assist the Project Director. Please note that this role is on a contract basis.

The role is to provide administrative and organisational support to the Project Director

In this role you will be accountable for:
• Project Director (PD) calendar, meeting and travel arrangements
• Record meetings, create and follow-up on action lists.
• Prepare presentations
• Prepare the daily work for PD
• Taking part in the weekly team meeting
• Invite for meetings and request information on items raised by PD from project team
• Undertake instructions from Project Director
• Organise and optimise PD and meetings, keep PD calendar & travel arrangements up-to-date and optimise, prepare material for meetings, archive documents, find relevant e-mails,
• Oversee all meeting rooms and office infrastructure.
• Arrange catering when required
• Record minutes of meeting, follow-up on actions, prepare presentations and other material

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
• Very comfortable meeting and talking to team, external stakeholders and senior managers
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Fast learner and understanding of what is needed without being told all details
• Be able to use own initiative, prioritise and work in a fast-paced pressurised environment
• Organised, proactive, professional and friendly
• Ability to meet deadlines and remain calm under pressure
• Attention to detail
• Confidentiality and ability to handle sensitive matters at all times
• Excellent PC skills including Word, PowerPoint, Excel (advanced), Outlook and MS Visio (latter ideally)
• Previous experience of working in a project environment would be beneficial
