Due to continued success within the medical manufacturing field, our world renowned client are looking for a Senior Maintenance & Continuous Improvement Engineer to oversee new machine installations & provide guidance to ensure processes run efficiently.

The successful Engineer will be involved in FAT & SAT testing to evaluate capabilities of newly fitted equipment, ensuring installations meet required reliability standards as well as implementing and delivering necessary changes in order to ensure machinery meets specifications.

You will initially be responsible for all aspects of new machinery maintenance, from preliminary troubleshooting and performing PPM routines, generating essential maintenance documentation, service manuals and risk assessments to training local maintenance teams in reactive & planned maintenance in order to transfer the equipment into their care.

A strong continuous improvement background is essential for this position, as there will be the responsibility to work with Process Improvement Engineers ensuring that corrective actions are put into place along with assisting in the continuous development of production processes and plant.

To be successful in this role you must be flexible regarding shift patterns and overtime as required.

Experience & Qualifications

* Proven experience in a maintenance role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
* Strong electrical fault finding experience - ideally Siemens S7 or Allen Bradley
* Ability to make decisions under pressure
* Experience in the validation of new equipment and the application of process improvement techniques
* Recognised electrical or mechanical apprenticeship
* Green belt in six sigma would be highly beneficial
