We are currently looking for a driven Industrial Engineer for a prestigious Tier 1 Automotive business
The Role
Reporting to the Ops Manager, as the Industrial Engineer you will part of a team responsible for engineering all new product introductions whilst providing accurate and appropriate manufacturing engineering support.
Your principle accountabilities will include;

Comtinuous Improvement

Time study
*
Standard time & synthetic data construction
*
Production study
*
Activity sampling/ rated activity sampling
*
Productivity/ performance measurement
*
Resource planning calculation
*
Identification of unproductive time
*
Time studies
*
Work allocations and off standard applications
*
Elimination of production concerns
*
Process flow and machine studies
*
Process containments
*
Lead and manage a team
*
Co-ordinate daily activities for the Industrial Engineer and QPS Co-ordinator
*
develop the team to support the CI activity
The Person
Based out of the Ellesmere Port client site, the ideal Industrial Engineer will have the following skills and experience:
Essential:
*
Time served or HNC/HND
*
Industrial engineer
*
Strong sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure
*
Excellent organisation &communication skills
*
Use own initiative and high degree of accuracy, numeracy & attention to detail
