We are currently recruiting for a Semi Senior Accountant to join an established and growing Public Practice Accountancy Firm in East Kent. They work with a range of business including SME's, Sole traders and Partnerships.
Main responsibilities include:
- Tax returns and self-employment accounts.
- Accounts preparation for Sole Traders and Partnerships.
- Limited company accounts and corporation tax VAT returns and CIS returns.
- Communication and liaising with clients (written, spoken and face-to-face in client meetings).
Key requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years experience within Practice.
- Must be AAT qualified or ACCA part-qualified (study support will be provided).
- Experience using Sage 50.
- Previous experience using PTP Tax Software, Xero cloud accounting and VT Accounts is desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills with a high attention to detail.
- Able to work under your own initiative and as part of a team.
- Calm under pressure.
