My client a leading Swindon employer is seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the HR manager you will take the lead on all temporary and permanent recruitment activities.

Purpose of the Role:

The purpose of this role is to coordinate the entire temporary and permanent recruitment & selection process in conjunction with preferred suppliers. The role will also include reporting and analysis of recruitment and attrition data along with making recommendations to improve in these areas. You will also be responsible for providing updates with regard to daily attendance.

Main Responsibilities & Duties will include, but is not exhaustive;
*Supporting and inputting to the recruitment strategy in the business in conjunction with the AS Manager.
*Organising day to day temporary recruitment activity including liaising with preferred supplier recruitment agencies.
*Checking MHE licences with the training centre.
*Coordinating assessments with the training centre for MHE candidates.
*Ensuring candidates are appropriately inducted prior to commencement.
*Updating the recruitment tracker on a daily basis and communicating to agencies & the business.
*Ensuring managers are aware of all new starters in their area and when they are expected.
*Ensuring new starters turn up for work when expected.
*Keeping recruitment trackers up to date and regularly producing reports in relation to recruitment and attrition.
*Organising inductions for temp to perm new starters in conjunction with the Training Coordinator.
*Reviewing daily absence and reporting on this, analysing trends and identifying issues.
*Coordinating permanent recruitment activity including advertising, screening, interviewing, right to work checks, etc.
*Being innovative with regard to recruitment and attrition initiatives and making suggestions to improve these.
*Updating Ops Board on a daily basis.
*Holding regular meetings with recruitment agencies to feedback with regard to their service levels.
*Analysing and reporting on general recruitment and attrition trends.
*Carrying out market research in relation to pay & benefits.
*Make recommendations to ensure associates are engaged in the business.

Experience
*Previous experience of working within a recruitment or HR function.
*Understands the legal perspective of recruitment & selection.
*Skills
*Positive attitude, proactive approach & professional image is essential at all times.
*Must be confident to deal with people at all levels, both internally & externally.
*Must be able to work in a highly confidential manner, with high levels of integrity, as required within the role.
*Strong interpersonal skills, which demonstrate a tactful, diplomatic approach.
*Must be flexible to fit in with the demands of the business. This will include the requirement to work occasional additional hours, e.g. weekends, early morning/late evenings as the business operates a shift pattern.
*Must be computer literate to utilise packages such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Internet.
*Effective & clear communication, both written & verbal.
*Ability to prioritise tasks, take responsibility for areas of work & see them through to conclusion, ensuring deadlines are met.
*Ability to work in a methodical & tidy manner.
*Ability to work as part of a team.
