HR Business Partner; up to GBP35k (+ competitive benefits); based within the Preston area

Our well respected and well established client are seeking to recruit a HR Business Partner at their offices based within the Preston area. The HR Business Partner will lead on HR related matters including policies & procedures, employee relations and succession planning. The HR Business Partner will have direct reports and as such needs to be able to adapt to not only their own diverse and changing workload but that of the wider team as well. This HR Business Partner job will provide the successful candidate with great exposure for a well respected and expansive national business.

The core duties & responsibilities of the role will include, but by no means be limited to:

* Operational lead on disciplinary, grievance and managing an active and diverse employee relations case load;
* Working with a supportive team of HR professionals to develop strategies and business improvements;
* Policy & procedure evaluation and change within market trends and legislation;
* Supporting with re-structures and TUPE;
* Leading a close-knit team of Assistants and Administrators and acting as a key support figure.

Essential criteria:

* CIPD level 5 and above qualified;
* Previous experience within a similar HR Business Partner;
* Previous experience managing a HR team

Essentially, you will be an ambitious HR professional who has a "Business Partner" mentality and who has a willingness to work to changing workloads, be a team player while also leading by example. You will be extremely commercially focused as well as customer focused and have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) as well as being completely proficient in MS packages (including excel & word).
