We are working with a hugely successful and rapidly growing national wholesale and trade distribution company. Specialising in HVAC, electrical and process controls, water heating and oil and gas spares, the business is made up of some of the best known names within the industry and has fast become a market-leader.
The company continues to grow through acquisitions and due to their ambitious plans for expansion, they are looking for Trainee Branch Managers in the Midlands to join their business.
You will complete an intense introduction period, working closely with existing Business Managers to familiarise yourself with the company, their products, processes and values in order to progress quickly to running your own location.
Coming from a B2B background in facilities management, engineering or wholesale and distribution, you will be a motivated and inspiring leader who is ambitious, driven and ready for the next challenge. You may be a manager who feels stifled in their current role or an ambitious engineer or salesperson seeking progression. Either way you will be an entrepreneur, with the initiative to spot and capitalise on new business opportunities and with the courage to seek out the next step in your career.
Following the fast-track introduction period you will take control of your own GBP1m-8m turnover branch:
* You will have full autonomy over planning and implementing a strategic development plan
* You will be responsible for the running of the entire business, including full P&L, managing and mentoring employees, driving sales, marketing, logistics and purchasing
* You will develop and manage key accounts to ensure continued success
* You will focus on strong client relationships and a high quality service, utilising products from the world's leading suppliers
