Role: Manufacturing Engineer
My client is the world's leading designer and manufacturer of superconducting magnetic resonance imaging magnets for medical applications. Due to expansion we are currently looking to recruit x2 Manufacturing Engineers for a 12 month fixed term contract in Oxford.
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for;
- The development and documentation of manufacturing processes in collaboration with R&D engineers and technicians.
-Management of manufacturing changes through our well defined change process.
-Creation and updating of manufacturing Bill of Materials
-Implementation of small improvement projects.
-Compiling and analyzing performance data to support departmental monthly reporting.
-Creating component defect reports for communication to the supplier.
Candidates for the position of Manufacturing Engineer should have the following key skills, knowledge and experience;
- Educated in an engineering discipline to a minimum of HNC level or appropriate equivalent experience.
- Fluent in the use of Microsoft office applications, Excel and Word.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work within a team environment or independently
- Prior Knowledge of SAP
- Knowledge of Team Centre and NX software
