The School - Key Stage 1 Teacher:

This fantastic School believes that learning should be exciting, purposeful and challenging. It is always their aim to equip each child with the skills they need for lifelong learning by developing confident learners, who take ownership of their learning and are proud of their achievements as they grow. They believe that every child is unique. Through positive attitudes and partnerships, the School endeavour to develop the whole child, meeting individual needs in a safe and secure environment where differences are recognised, celebrated and appreciated. Everything is built around a commitment to hard work, honesty and growing independence. Constant high expectations of every learner are built into the curriculum, balanced with personal choice, sport and creativity so that each can flourish within a safe but challenging framework designed to specifically fit their needs. They always emphasise on high quality teaching for it to be a key feature of their success. As a Primary School, they expect a great deal of hard work, being actively involved in sport and taking a lead from all our pupils. We expect high standards from everyone and believe that the simple formula of "work hard and work together" will ensure the best future for our pupils. To this end we are "compassionately ruthless" in implementing the high standards and expect that parents will wish the same for their children.
