The Client
The Client is one of the UK's leading contractors, working in major and minor projects within commercial, new build housing and social refurbishment projects. The Client is currently seeking an experienced new build housing Project Manager to aid delivery on a number of prestigious projects across the Midlands.

The Opportunity
The Client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to be based in the South West region to support the Contracts Manager with the new build construction projects. Candidates must demonstrate sound experience in new build housing developments and large scale developments.
Successful candidates will have prior experience managing a number of contracts, specifically within new build housing, and will understand the technicalities of building elements and constructing from the ground upwards.
Duties Include:
???Responsible for the effective management of the project producing detailed short term programmes to align with the main programme and where necessary, in conjunction with the Contracts Manager, amend to maintain the overall target programme.
???Take all necessary actions to ensure that work is carried out within the project requirements and timescales.
???Assist that relevant Senior Manager in agreeing with the client the Critical Success factors for the project.
???Set out and agree a plan to deliver the objectives, communicate with all staff and monitor performance
???Be aware of the company any obligations and rights under the terms of the contract ensuring compliance whilst protecting the company rights in accordance with the contracts
???Adopt and maintain and proactive approach in all aspects of health and safety
???Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with the client and members of the team
???Produce all reports for both clients and internal meetings in a timely manager

As well as prior experience, the Client is seeking candidates who are positive and forward thinking. The role also has a large element of client liaison; therefore successful candidates will have prior experience of and be comfortable operating within a client facing role.
To be considered for this role, candidates must also hols valid CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid accreditations.
