JOB TITLE: Play Work Practitioners
SALARY & BENEFITS: GBP7.30-GBP9.20 Dependent on experience / qualifications
WORKING HOURS:29 hours per week (hours during holidays will vary)
THE COMPANY:Our client founded in 2002 provide out of school care for children aged 4-12 . Offering both Breakfast club and after school club they are passionate and proud to offer all children fun and activities in a safe environment. They are continuing to grow and are now looking for Play Work practitioners to join their committed team.
THE ROLE:As a Play work Practitioner you will be based in Tranent assisting with out of school hours activities. You will actively take part in activities with the children ranging from the ages of 4- 12 from 3 separate primary schools within the Tranent area. The activities vary from outdoor play to arts and crafts and many other activities always child led
29 hours per week term time only , hours during holiday hours will vary.
There could be a possibility to negotiate working hours to suit (afternoons, mornings only etc) this would be discussed at interview.
This is the perfect role for somebody who enjoys working with children. You will spend each day with children assisting them in having FUN!!
Hours:
Breakfast session 7.15am - 9.00am
Afternoon session - 2.30pm - 6.00pm Monday to Thursday
Afternoon Session - 11.45 - 6.00pm Fridays
You may be required to work during school holidays
*Hours can be negotiated to suit for the right candidate
THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate for the role of Play worker Practitioner will have experience within a similar role and will be qualified in Play Work/Childcare,NC/HNC and SVQ or similar would be highly desirable.
Above all you will have a passion for working with children and delivering a high standard of service to both children and parents.
