Oracle Technical Developer

Our client requires and experience Oracle Developer to start ASAP. Key skills include:

* A key member of the IS team supporting and developing Oracle Applications E-Business Suite ERP, primarily in the areas of Sales, Warehousing, Planning, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Finance, Research, Design and Quality.
* Undertaking extraction of data elements from Oracle E-Business suite and other data sources, building the BI business model and mapping layer which may include hierarchies, dimensions, and aggregates.
* Working very closely with functional analysts and 3rd Party Support providing the mapping of the presentation layer objects to Oracle BI in creating the metrics for the analytics dashboards.
* Involves supporting / developing additional systems including Oracle Business Intelligence, TruTime, SharePoint, Supportworks and other business systems.
* Involves working closely with the Analyst Programmers, System Accountant, Business Analysts, DBAs and leading "Functional Support" staff creating Developments (using PL/SQL, JDeveloper, Forms 10g, Reports 10g, Oracle Workflow 2.6), Testing, Documentation and Implementation of new Business Processes and Information Systems and upgrading software versions that assist in the continual improvement of Business Processes and execution of the company business.
* Supporting multiple Oracle Modules, including Order Management, Warehouse Management, Receivables, Payables, General Ledger, Inventory, Bill of Materials, Work in Process, Quality, ASCP.
* Working closely with and leading "Functional Support" staff and software suppliers in providing support, assistance, bug resolution, patch fixes, testing, user documentation and on-going training of staff on the business processes and information systems, resolving problems as required.
* Assisting, developing and guiding more junior IS department staff.

Oracle PL/SQL

BI Publisher

* Experience of support of ERP and implementation of upgrades.
* Having worked on, or have knowledge of some of the following modules within Oracle E-Business Suite Application would be of very beneficial but is not essential.

Order Management, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management - Inventory/Shipping, Purchasing, Bill of Materials, Engineering, Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP), Work in Process, User Productivity Kit, Internet Developer Suite, Discrete Manufacturing, Financials, Field Sales, Depot Repair, Electronic Order Line, Oracle Business Intelligence.

* Advantage but not essential to have knowledge of DW\BI project lifecycle, tools, technologies and best practices and knowledge of Oracle BI Tools (OBIEE, BI Analytics, BI Answers, BI Publisher, BI Repository (RPD), DAC, ETL, Security, E-Business Integration etc.
