Title: Senior Planning Consultant
Location: Taunton
Salary: ??32,000 - ??40,000 + Benefits
Established Planning Consultancy actively seeking a Senior Planning Consultant to join their Town Planning office based in Taunton. Being an award winning company they are renowned for the standard of their work as well as the career opportunities that they are able to offer. Reporting to an Associate or Technical Director you will be given autonomy to deliver projects as you see fit and will also be able to work from home when required.
The role will be to work on key projects around the South West of England. You will be expected to be involved in all aspects of the planning process which will be both within the Private and Public sector. You will act as a mentor to others members of staff and will be involved in dealing with planning applications and appeals making sure that all work is in line with RTPI rules & legislation. Applicants will need a driving license in order to get to site when required.
To apply the Town Planner will have ideally at least five years post-qualification experience in a similar position in a private practice or in local government. You will be holding a degree and post-graduate qualification in Town Planning or similar and have your full RTPI membership. Experience in dealing with informal hearings would be highly desirable.
