The purpose of this role is to deliver the best quality software engineering service to my Client in relation to pumping station control systems. As a software engineer you will be expected to develop highly safe and reliable software that conforms to existing standards. You will be expected to attain a high level of understanding and competence in relation to software based control systems within the company.
Success in this role will be demonstrated by delivery of fully documented high quality software solutions within agreed timescales.
Key Responsibilities:
• EICA projects - Telemetry / PLC/SCADA systems, etc.
• EICA software input to other Above Ground Asset Management projects
• Feasibility Studies, Cost Estimates, project software scoping
• Technical support to the companies divisions
• Management of software contractors / sub-contractors
• Design, testing and commissioning of PLC and SCADA software.
• Writing of FDS, FAT and SAT documents and Operator Manuals
• Provide ongoing technical support on installed PLC & SCADA systems
• Immediate projects include pumping station refurbishments and chemical dosing systems
• Participate in and promote the internal feedback process, to actively seek and offer feedback in order to promote continuous improvement
