They require a Service Technician to provide all maintenance related services on a range of laboratory balances and industrial scales. An excellent package is on offer for the right candidate.

Service Technician, Service Engineer, Field Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Installation Engineer, Commissioning Engineer

The Service Technicians location is flexible but ideally they would live in or near to Worcester, Gloucester, Hereford, Cheltenham, Evesham

The Service Technician will receive a base salary between ??22-25k, depending on candidate capabilities, possibly higher for the ideal candidate, plus bonus and overtime.

Skills / Qualifications
As a prospective Service Technician the more of the following "boxes" you can tick, the better is your chance of being selected for interview:-

??? Ideally ONC/HND (or equivalent) in an Electrical / Mechanical Engineering discipline
??? Experience of electrical fault finding, maintenance of machinery, calibration protocols and have worked in a service customer facing environment is required (weighing industry experience desired but not essential)
??? Competent with MS Operating Systems, MS Office and in the use of fault finding tools i.e. circuit drawings, DVM etc to diagnose problems is essential
??? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
??? Proactive, self-motivated and outcome orientated
??? Professional, able to demonstrate a flexible approach with a sense of urgency and effective time management skills
??? Possess a full driving licence and be prepared to travel

As Service Technician you will be responsible for the installation, all service related activities and breakdowns on a range of laboratory balances and industrial scales.
Key responsibilities include:

??? Routine service and/or calibration of customer equipment
??? Installation of new equipment
??? Rectification of breakdowns
??? Provide complete, timely and accurate documentation for all work carried out
