You will be required to
* Cut foam, cloth or leather for other operators to assemble.
* Trim parts to the required quality standard, using a variety of hand or power tools & related equipment.
* Cut, manually manipulate & apply some coverings using adhesive.
* To sub - assemble interior trim parts for the main Assembly areas.
Ideal candidate will have had experience with:
* hand & power tools.
* Able to work to standard work processes.
* Can meet set targets to the required quality standard
Applicants must be able to understand & communicate effectively in English as all jobs are carried out from a written process sheet. This role can be physically challenging & candidates need to be able to carry out physical tasks
Skills Required
Basic trimming skills, preferable with leather.
Candidates with limited previous experience will receive training to meet the required standard.
Qualifications Required
C&G, NVQ or similar, with Vehicle Trimming or associated elements.
Knowledge of, or units in, Business Improvement Techniques.
Professional/Specialised/Technical Knowledge and Experience.
