The Role
The Executive has responsibility for leading the Sales drive within BC. As a direct consequence he/ she will be responsible for creating a sales proposition (articulated and agreed throughout BC), the identification of a prospect list (and maintenance thereof), the management of the sales pipeline and funnels relating thereto and the management of the prospect through the tender and appointment process.
Main responsibilities and Accountabilities
* Member of the Benefit Consulting Executive team
* Creates an agreed overall Strategy and Development plan for the sales drive for the Benefit Consulting business.
* To have a thorough grasp of the Revenue generation potential from prospects for the benefit consulting proposition. To be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of a rolling pipeline to deliver the agreed sales and profit targets
* To have a full understanding of all commercial and contractual terms and that deals are priced in accordance with approved pricing models and signed off through the Governance framework.
* To be responsible for the development and training of those staff allocated.
* Maintains and develops JLT's culture, values and reputation with all staff, customers, partners and regulators/official bodies.
* Provides insight and ideas to help determine the Proposition Development runway to meet market demands
* Establish and maintain a personal presence in the market regularly attending Industry events and other networking opportunities.
Experience and Education Requirements
Essential:
* Proven understanding of the Benefit Consulting market, developing a sales strategy and managing a sales pipeline for himself or herself and allocated sales staff
* Suitable professional qualification
Desirable:
* Proven track record of bringing on board major clients .
* Experience in leading a team of professional advisers in a sales / business development role
