Business Development Manager - In-store Point of Sale
LOCATION: Home based (South East) with European travel
SALARY: GBP60K - GBP70K basic with a competitive package.
OVERVIEW: A Business Development Manager position to support growth in the in-store POS category within Europe.
THE COMPANY:
Our client is a leading provider in outsourcing printed marketing services including print, point of sale and promotional merchandise. They currently have an enviable Blue Chip client base focussed mainly on FMCG, pharmaceutical and leisure and are going through a period of growth to expand into global and European markets.
OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:
*A Business Development Manager is required to build up the in-store POS category in Europe.
*You would be working closely with the marketing team based in the South East to drive revenue and identify new business opportunities.
*This is an excellent opportunity to build up a fresh new territory and make your own mark on a fairly untouched patch.
*Although there will be some existing accounts this role will involve a lot of new business and will require you to pro-actively nurture and build relationships and target prime opportunities that are in line with the overall business strategies.
*Identify opportunities for campaigns, services and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
EXPERIENCE:
*Proven experience in a similar Business Development role.
*Experience of working within the in-store POS sector.
*Must be comfortable with lots of new business and happy with frequent European travel.
*Successful track record of winning long term regional or global contracts.
*Excellent presentation skills.
*Must be skilled at market mapping from scratch.
*Self-motivated and the ability to work professionally and independently.
*An established European network would be highly beneficial.
*Must have a passion for retail and
*Other languages (French, Spanish, German) would be advantageous but not essential.
