Multi Skilled Engineer - Continental Shift Pattern

Salary: GBP33,000 - GBP37,000 + Pension + Healthcare + Overtime

The Company
An excellent opportunity has arisen with one of the UK's instantly recognisable FMCG manufacturers, a leading manufacturer, specialising in food manufacturing. Benefiting from continuous improvements to all the manufacturing processes the group will in turn generate further expansion of this already rapidly growing organisation, which has been established for over 50 years and employs over 15,000 people world wide.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day electrical and mechanical engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximizing machine efficiencies. The ideal candidate will come from an electrical or mechanical engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer but multi-skilled and have fast moving manufacturing experience. If you have worked PLC systems, Lean manufacturing systems and SAP systems it would be advantageous. Also able and willing to work on ovens, sealing machinery, gearboxes, pumps, general mechanical work and other manufacturing machinery. There is a huge amount of training on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
