Our busy clients are a Manchester-based construction company specialising in energy efficient and well-designed building projects. With our own design, build and site teams we manage all building projects in-house from architectural drawings and surveying through to build and handover to property management companies. They are particularly committed to the construction and refurbishment of unloved historic buildings and transforming them into high tech and environmentally sustainable developments. Property management including qualified lettings negotiators and a dedicated maintenance team

They are now looking for a 3D Artist

We need someone who is doing architecture and visualisations as architectural visualizer understand the lighting, building materials and architecture.

Salary depending on experience
Location: City Centre Manchester in brand new modern offices
Close to all transport links
40 hours per week (flexible) Monday to Friday

Job purpose:
To work with 3d Designers and other building professionals and resolve any potential design problems before completing final visualisations. To achieve optimum functionality, efficiency, and effectiveness in 3d and robust, durable, and sustainable design solutions that perform over time.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
•To compile 3d visualisations and use of different modelling software.
•To meet with architects at an early stage to agree on the project brief.
•To be able to model buildings/rooms/furniture quick to meet the deadlines.
•To create complex building/room models and organic models
•To understand use of light and shadows for external and internal scenes and produce photorealistic outputs.
•To draw up a project brief and programme of work
•To follow design reference accurately and work in a range of styles
•To have good drawing/modelling skills.
•To understand use of light and shadows within 3d programs.
•To develop high quality/photorealistic outputs

•A forward planner, mature, credible, and comfortable in dealing at all levels and all walks, takes responsibility and accepts accountability.
•Strong communication and the ability to work on own initiative.

Specific Job Skills:
•Must demonstrate strong skills in architecture, mathematics, drawing and design, and have an excellent eye for detail, art and design to complement technical know- how.
•The ability to work well under time and budget pressures Excellent communication skills, both written and oral High levels of creativity, imagination and vision.

Qualifications and training required:
•Degree in Graphics or Architecture or other recognised architecture equivalent.

Computer skills:
•Advance/semi-advance knowledge of 3D editors (3D Max, VRay, Marvelous Designer, Unreal Engine, Unity (to produce VR walkthroughs)).
•Experience with 2D graphics (Adobe Photoshop)
