Litigation Officer - The Company:
Due to expansion, we are recruiting experienced individuals with a collections, litigation or paralegal background to monitor accounts that are in arrears and handle the litigation stage of the aged debt. Part of the role will also include negotiating payment plans to bring accounts up to date. The role requires strong decision making skills and case management, liaising with customers and solicitors.
Litigation Officer - The Role:
- Identify accounts to be considered for litigation.
- Liaise with solicitors on a regular basis to see the case through to resolution.
- Respond to all customer enquiries received by telephone or in writing.
- Collect payments by telephone.
- Interact and assist customers with problems and queries on their accounts as well as negotiating arrangements.
- Involvement with the legal process via solicitors.
Litigation Officer - The Candidate:
- Experience in a collection or arrears role, ideally within financial services or within a legal environment linked to arrears, repossessions or bankruptcy.
- Knowledge of the litigation process.
- Case management experience.
- Excellent communication skills
