Our established and highly reputable client is seeking a Paraplanner to join their friendly and established team.
To work alongside and support a senior Financial Adviser and to provide the client with a professional, ongoing Financial Planning experience, providing a point of contact for the client, when necessary.
To complete a number of non-client facing tasks involved in preparing and administering financial plans, reports and suitability letters for HNW clients and in particular in relation to replacement business cases by:

Preparing the client file:
• Checking all compliance paperwork is present
• Confirming client risk profile is determined
• Discussing client objectives with financial adviser
• Identifying and obtaining the information necessary to compile financial cashflow forecast
• Compiling draft net worth statement; income and expenditure statements and financial
cashflow forecast and discuss with adviser.

Preparing recommendations:
• Undertake research both independently and with the Financial Adviser to identify suitable
solutions to meet the client's needs
• Prepare information/comparisons for analysis by planner
• Liaise with client's legal and tax advisers (if applicable)
• Consider current and future allocation of assets for investment strategy with regard to client
• risk profile
• Prepare draft recommendation reports to be discussed/signed off by Adviser.

Implementing recommendations:
• Prepare suitability letters in accordance with the agreed recommendations
• Complete application / proposals forms
• Ensure all compliance paperwork is in order
• Make changes to clients' investments as instructed
• Implement the chosen investment strategies.

To manage own workflow in consultation with the adviser to determine business priorities and expedite the submission and approval of business cases.

To employ excellent interpersonal and IT skills.

To operate as an effective part of the team and share knowledge.

To undertake various other tasks depending on the requirements of the adviser and the business.
