Working foreman

Working Foreman required for a Cornwall based building and maintenance company who specialise in refurbishment of residential and education projects, including insurance works and dilapidations.

The successful candidate must have internals refurbishment experience and have a proven record of managing small teams on site. You will be SSSTS/SMSTS qualified and have an in depth knowledge of first aid and be able to organise daily work programmes for the onsite trades. You will be leading a team of direct employed trades to carry projects to a high standard for clients such as RSA, Bovis Homes, Cornwall County Council to name a few.

Main tasks will include:

H&S for the site with weekly checks

Liaising with clients and property owners

Ordering materials

Checking quality and ensuring our high standards

Updating site diary with the office team

Making sure everyone on site is where they should be at all times

Reporting direct to the company directors

Delivering projects on time and on budget.

Ideally you will come from a carpentry background however other trades background will be considered. You must also have a clean UK driving licence.

Salary £30,000 p.a plus benefits and overtime.
