Support Worker (Learning Disabilities)

We are looking for great people to join our teams of dedicated care professionals. Full time, part time and bank opportunities are available and shifts include night shifts, day shifts and weekend work on a rota basis.

Our Client is a family run company group and is one of the largest providers of residential care in Norfolk. They have been a leading provider of dedicated support and differing services for people with learning disabilities for 25 years.

As well as the Hospital in Cawston, homes offering supported living are situated in Norwich, Cromer, Buxton, North Walsham, Fakenham and surrounding areas.

Support Worker – Job Overview and Responsibilities

They are looking for Support Workers for their Residential Care Homes, Supported Living Schemes and Specialist needs-led homes situated at various locations around Norfolk including Norwich, Cromer, Buxton, North Walsham and Fakenham and also the Hospital site which is based at Cawston.

You will be part of a team that will provide the highest standards of direct care and support to our patients and tenants in all aspects of their daily living as part of a multi- disciplinary team and to be actively involved with patient and tenants needs. To lead educational and therapeutic activities to aid rehabilitation in accordance with a patient and tenants 24 hour individual timetable of events or activities and as such you will be expected to drive a company vehicle to transport patients to and from external activities, appointments, visits and events as required.
